Your mission
- Develop and manage our portfolio for EV charging, charging infrastructure and commercial battery energy storage systems.
- Assess Vehicle-to-Home, Vehicle-to-Building and Vehicle-to-Grid applications for integration into the SKE portfolio.
- Build integrated solutions combining EV charging, PV, BESS, energy management and intelligent software.
- Expand our offering from residential charging to C&I applications, DC fast charging, charging hubs and logistics sites.
- Identify customer needs and market opportunities across our European markets.
- Evaluate products, technologies and solution partners from a technical, commercial and strategic perspective.
- Manage the full product lifecycle — from market analysis and business case to testing, pilot projects, launch, further development and phase-out.
- Develop product roadmaps and define priorities for hardware, software, services and system integration.
- Create scalable solutions for commercial buildings, fleets, logistics companies, charging operators and other C&I customers.
- Develop charging concepts combined with BESS, especially where grid capacity, peak loads or energy costs are critical.
- Drive smart charging, dynamic load management, energy optimization and bidirectional charging.
- Evaluate DC fast-charging and high-power charging solutions for passenger vehicles, fleets, trucks and logistics applications.
- Define requirements for charging management, monitoring, billing, payment, remote service and energy management software.
- Ensure interoperability between charging hardware, vehicles, BESS, software platforms and external systems.
- Coordinate pilot projects and reference installations in selected markets.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Technical Support, Field Service, Supply Chain and technology partners.
- Translate technical solutions into clear customer benefits, business models and go-to-market concepts.
- Prepare product information, sales tools, solution concepts and training content.
- Enable Sales, Technical Support and Service teams to position and support the new portfolio.
- Build a strong network with customers, fleet operators, logistics companies, charge point operators, installers, EPCs, utilities and technology partners.
- Represent SKE at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions and technology workshops.
What will help you succeed
- Experience in Product Management, Solution Management, Business Development or a comparable role.
- Relevant background in EV charging, charging infrastructure, BESS or related energy technologies.
- Strong expertise in either EV charging or BESS and interest in integrated solutions.
- Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, E-Mobility, Renewable Energy or a related field.
- Good understanding of fleet, depot, public, workplace or logistics charging.
- Experience in evaluating, developing or launching technical products and solutions.
- Knowledge of energy management, load management, grid connection requirements or distributed energy systems.
- Familiarity with CCS, MCS, OCPP or ISO 15118 is an advantage.
- Knowledge of bidirectional charging, Vehicle-to-Grid or Vehicle-to-Building is an advantage.
- Ability to combine technical understanding, customer needs and commercial thinking.
- Experience with hardware, software and service-based business models.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with customers, internal teams and technology partners.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style.
- Curiosity for emerging technologies and the ability to turn them into practical solutions.
- Fluent English and good German skills.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
